Center Dakari Johnson has started to create some nice buzz out of Lexington, and it appears that he will be used plenty by head coach John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats.
Saw the tweet below and it appears that Johnson is showing the Wildcats coacing staff a more advanced game, then they had originally anticipated. That will surely cheer up members of Big Blue Nation sad that they missed out on Prime Prep point guard Emmanuel Mudiay.

Johnson will likely come off the bench for the Wildcats, but we will have to see if his roommate and power forward Julius Randle can hold it down in the starting lineup. Something tells me that Randle is up to the task, but we will see.
Was lucky enough to catch Johnson play at the National High School Invitational, and he famously predicted a college championship after winning a high school one. Have to love that kind of confidence, and love the the Widcats made Johnson and Randle roommates.
That was quite wise, and excited to see if that results in any on-court chemistry.
These Wildcats have been called the best collective college basketball recruiting class of all time, but they will have to ultimately prove that on the court.
