Point guard Emmanuel Mudiay recently shook up the world with his recruiting decisions to roll with the Mustangs at Southern Methodist University. The Prime Prep point guard then tweeted his congratulations to Isaiah Whitehead for shaking it up with his own decision to join Seton Hall.

Mudiay will have another year of high school ball before we all get to join him in college, but he has some goals left yet. He will be gunning for the National High School Invitational next spring and word is that his game is much improved after a summer of work. If so, then he could be holding a national title at the end of the year. Whitehead’s decision was surprising, but he will give the Pirates a nice boost in the future.
Mudiay shocked a lot of people with his decision, but it should not have. He said from the beginning that the coach would be the most important aspect, and Larry Brown is certainly a more than capable coach. Mudiay has his eye on bigger things, and the main thing he was concerned about was making sure he had a coach who could take the point guard’s game to the next level. Brown played point guard, so this is going to be a fun show to watch.
