Power forward Justise Winslow payed a visit to the Florida Gators this weekend, and the young power forward was kind enough to tweet his thoughts to the folks out there. He wrote he “had a good time this weekend in Gainesville”, which you can check out below thanks to Winslow’s twitter feed.
It's been real Florida. Had a good time this weekend in Gainesville! Always fun in the Swamp when I get to hang with the Gators!!

It remains to be seen where Winslow will end up, but his talent is undeniable and the Gators would be lucky to have him. They might even have a decent shot if Winslow had a good time this weekend, which I’m sure he did.
They also have a distinct recruiting advantage, because their head coach Billy Donovan got to spend some time with Winslow this summer on their way to a US U-19 gold medal. It certainly must have helped chemistry between Donovan and Winslow, and do not count me among the surprised ones if Winslow commits to the Gators. They certainly already know what winning feels like as a player and a coach.
Winslow has a lot of great options in front of him, so there is no guarantee but the Gators seem to have a decent shot at landing the talented four. We will just have to see if Donovan won over the power forward last summer.
