Apple Valley (MN.) point guard Tyus Jones made a prediction on twitter that Matt Cassel would lead the Minnesota Vikings to victory today, and fortunately for the young point guard his prediction was correct. It would have looked kind of bad the other way.

The Vikings emerged victorious in London today with Cassell starting at QB, although Adrian Peterson and Greg Jennings were both key in the victory as well which brought the Vikes to 1-3 overall.

Cassell backed up Tom Brady for a number of years before getting his own shot, and he fared well today so he should continue with the Vikings for the foreseeable future. He has quite a few weapons at his disposal and for the sake of all Minnesota, hoping for Cassel’s continued success.

Also, you can check out Jones tweet below, and the young point has been hoping Cassel would start for some time.

Jones should make his recruiting decision by early November, and wherever he ends up will be quite thrilled indeed. He is a package recruiting deal with top ranked center Jahlil Okafor, and wherever they end up will likely become a title contender. Congrats to Jones for having a good football eye as well, but something tells me he should not quite get his hopes up about the Vikings quite yet. It might end up being a pretty rough year in the end.
