Paul Biancardi of ESPN made some twitter comments about guard Isaiah Briscoe’s development and felt it prudent to share it with you all, because this young man could become one of the top players in the class. The young guard will be looked upon for even more production next year, and Biancardi seems to think the young man is ready to deliver at a high level.
Was lucky enough to see Briscoe play a bit at the National High School Invitational, and if his game has improved then will be looking forward to see him next year. His ball handling and passing impressed me quite a bit, but he struggled with his shot a bit last April. Last year’s tournament was in Bethesda, so here is hoping I see Briscoe in Maryland again next year.
His game is maturing “@Title_BU: 5-star Briscoe is the 20th rated player in 2015, per ESPN.”

Briscoe will have to take on a bigger role next season to win more games, but he certainly has the skills to step up, so do not be surprised if he does. Biancardi called the games at NHSI last year, and he has been watching Briscoe play for some time, so his voice is to be trusted on this matter. Hopefully Biancardi continues to call the ESPNU games next season because he did a very fine job, and look forward to seeing if Briscoe can make a return appearance next year.
