Justise Winslow Looming As Unknown Factor in Duke Blue Devils Visit

Dave Daniels- Rant Sports

Top ranked point guard Tyus Jones and top ranked center Jahlil Okafor are almost as close as brothers, and that is why they are a package recruiting deal They have both gotten to know Justise Winslow over the years as well, and the talented small forward will be making his Duke Blue Devils visit with the package recruiting duo, which could end up being a game-changer.

Winslow still has eighth teams left on his list so he is still kind of flying under the radar unlike many other recruits of his caliber. This is a young man who has never made headlines for doing something stupid, but only for his excellent play on the floor. Billy Donovan is hoping Winslow joins him in Gainesville, but that might be wishful thinking in my opinion.

The news that Winslow will go on the Durham visit with the duo is huge, and could end up pushing things over the edge this fall. The small forward also helped win the US U-19 team a gold medal this summer and guess who his roommate was? Okafor.

All things are connected folks, and sometimes you just have to look at the entire chess board in order to see the next move.

Could Duke be going for too many recruits? There will be definitely 4 senior spots open, but it’s possible that Sulaimon, Parker and/or Hood could return. Currently Allen has committed with the potential for 5 more recruits signing (Okafor, Jones, Looney, Reid & Winslow). I guess this is the kind of problem all teams would like to have.

Parker is 50/50 to stay or go Hood goes sulaimon stays I think they get looney okafor, jones that’s it 50/50 on winslow think he ends up at zona though

But with winslow I think after the visit with Jones and okafor it might change because he is good friends with sulaimon
