Well looky, looky. I recently predicted that Washington Huskies point guard Nigel Williams-Goss would win Pac 12 freshman of the year even with Aaron Gordon entering the conference this season, and Williams-Goss did not take long to impress me yet again. Huskies head coach Lorenzo Romar recently tweeted that the former Findlay Prep standout won his team’s mile run in late September, which impressed me greatly. Although cannot say it surprised me; thanks to coach for tweeting this.
Congrats to Nigel Williams-Goss on winning our team mile run earlier in the week!

Williams-Goss will likely assuming the starting role for the Huskies right away and it would not surprise me at all to see him lead the team in scoring and assists.
I remember Findaly’s head coach talking about how Williams-Goss would organize runs with his teammates during high school, and this is clearly a part of his game that the young man has worked on. This young man’s game is quite advanced in quite a lot of ways, from his improved three point shooting to his almost unblockable running floater.
Will look forward for the larger basketball world to get to see Williams-Goss’ game up close. Still do not quite know how he projects to the pro level (heck look at Kendall Marshall now), but it is going to be an exciting time to watch college basketball next season.
