Tyus Jones has recently trimmed his recruiting list and at appears that this whole package recruiting deal thing is going to go down for sure. He has long said he is a package recruiting deal with Jahlil Okafor, and they have two more visits to make. Shout out to Daniels over at Fox Sports for the tweet below where Okafor and Jones both said the possibility of being now at “99.9%”.
Asked No. 1 Jahlil Okafor and No. 4 Tyus Jones about the possibility of their package deal working out. Okafor said 99.9%. Jones said 99%.

Their final visit is to the Duke Blue Devils, and to me that is the frontrunner at the moment. Jones and Okafor both played quite well this summer, so they should carry that into their final year of high school as well. It will most likely culminate with one of them winning many of the national player of the year awards, so that will be an interesting race to keep track of. I may even do a monthly update on that if I hear any feedback on twitter that my readers would like to see.
Jones led the EYBL circuit this summer in scoring, assists, and steals. Okafor played great as well, though mainly for the US U-19 squad. He came off the bench to help the team to a gold medal.
Stay tuned in to Rant Sports Prep and we should expect a decision from the duo in early November.
