Tyus Jones is definitely not holding back anymore when it comes to the Kentucky Wildcats, and they are officially off the Apple Valley guard’s recruiting list. It was not a surprise though because Jones had cancelled his Wildcats visit recently; this was due to Tyler Ulis committing to the Cats, which looked a little bit like a panic move after the Wildcats missed out on Emmanuel Mudiay. That is the recruiting game though, and it is a vicious game indeed.

Jones is a package recruiting deal with top ranked center Jahlil Okafor, and they should come to a decision by early November. They play each other in a game in December, that I’ve heard around the grape vine will most likely be aired on ESPN.

Shout out to the tweet below for alerting me to Jones trimming his list, and we are getting in the home stretch of this recruiting process folks.

Stay tuned later today for a piece on Okafor’s recruiting list, and you can bet that there will be more college basketball recruiting updates for you here at Rant Sports Prep. The Wildcats will have a great season ahead of them, but it appears that they will have to try and combat this vicious package recruiting deal.
