Kansas Jayhawks newst commitment Kelly Oubre will be succeeding Andrew Wiggins spot in Lawrence; it also appears Oubre is trying to get a successful team around him. Saw the latest piece by Adam Zagoria, and it is definitely worth checking out. It could end up having implications of a certain talented guard from Apple Valley.

Oubre says that he talks with top ranked point guard Tyus Jones “frequently” in the piece and Jones is visiting Lawrence with top ranked center Jahlil Okafor this coming weekend.. The game changer is that Jones and Okafor are a package recruiting deal, and have said recently that it has a “99.9%” chance of going down. I certainly believe it is going to happen, and it will either be the Jayhawks or the Duke Blue Devils at this point. The crew in Waco put on an impressive show, but do not see them landing the ultimate prize this time. Although I will admit their efforts impressed me.

Their visit to Lawrence will be hotly monitored, and then all we have to do is wait until early November. That is getting closer and closer folks, and cannot wait until we hear that squeak of sneakers on the hardwood once more and the smell of stale popcorn stuck in wooden bleachers.
