Andrew Wiggins Finishes Several Highlight Reel Dunks at “Late Night at the Phog”
Well, it begins. Or almost anyway. It begins to begin.
Andrew Wiggins made his first public appearance at “Late Night at the Phog”, and the young Canadian forward did not disappoint. You can check out some of his highlight reel dunks below, but what impressed me even more was his touch around the rim. He will show that even more as the year goes on, but this is a young team so they may come out of the gates a bit slow.

Wiggins recently graced the cover of Sports Illustrated, and it might be the first of many covers in his future. He was also named over the summer as Gatorade’s high school athlete of the year, so there are clearly bright things in this young man’s future. Wayne Selden’s highlights from the game are quite good too, and stay tuned later today for a piece that compares what he could do on this team to Dwyane Wade in Miami. That comparison might just be a bit too much too soon, but I won’t rule the kid out until get to see a full game of action.
There will be many for highlight dunks in Wiggins future, and you won’t have to go far to find them. He’s about to take it all over.
