Kansas Jayhawks Commit Kelly Oubre Jr. Tweets “Let’s Get It” At Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor
Small forward Kelly Oubre Jr. is bringing out all the stops in anticipation of point guard Tyus Jones and center Jahlil Okafor’s upcoming visit to Lawrence, and even took to twitter to tell the duo “let’s get it”. Oubre recently committed to the Kansas Jayhawks and it came out recently that he talks to the Apple Valley point “frequently”.
It would be a vicious combination down in Lawrence, but my money is still on the boys in Durham since they are batting cleanup as far as visits go. That may end up making the difference when the chips fall in early November, but Blue Devil nation still has to get their signatures in ink at the end of the day.

Oubre is a talented player in his own right and will be taking Andrew Wiggins spot in the starting lineup for the ‘Hawks. The trio of him, Jones, and Okafor would be tantalizing to be sure, and we will jsut ahve to see if head coach Bill Self has another recruiting coup up his sleeve. The commitment of Wiggins was a huge surprise to the media world, and there was almost no one who predicted it would be the Jayhawks in the end. Personally, I think the proximity of his older brother had more than a little to do with it, but I’m also a conspiracy theorist so that is just how I view the world.
