The Kansas Jayhawks have a big weekend ahead of them. They are hosting center Jahlil Okafor and point guard Tyus Jones this weekend, and we will just have to see if head coach Bill Self has another recruiting coup up his sleeve. In Waco they brought out live bears and a custom van, so here is hoping that the Jayhawks bring out the big guns for the package recruiting deal’s visit to Lawrence. Also thanks to the Shiver for tweeting this below.

Self was able to land Andrew Wiggins to the surprise of many, so Jayhawk nation will just have to hope for the best again here. No one predicted that one with any rational reason, but it was sure fun to follow and Wiggins secrecy made the surprise even more unsuspected. Jones and Okafor participate with the media a bit more than Wiggins, but we will still probably not hear a definite word until nearer to the deadline.

We will probably not see a decision from these two until early November, but that will not stop the rumor mill from churning from now until then. Cannot wait to hear though what surprises they have in store down in Kansas this weekend and you can be sure to be fully updated here at Rant Sports Prep.
