Jeff Goodman recently claimed that Andrew Wiggins was not even the most impressive player at Kansas Jayhawks practices recently, but we will see if the young Canadian will respond to that when it comes to game time. That day gets nearer with every passing hour, and as the weather continues to get colder up here in Chicago the only consolation is that basketball is getting closer.
Wiggins recently scored 21 points in a scrimmage which Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor attended. Though neither will get to play with Wiggins, you can bet that seeing him play must have made an impression.

Bill Self has called this the most athletic team he has ever coached, but he has also been impressed with Wiggins’ humility. The Jayhawks coach said Andrew is “a guy that just wants to fit in”.
We will see if that gets in the way with Wiggins taking over on the court, but something tells me it will not be an issue for the Canadian product. The true thrill will watching him play in the Olympics for Canada one day.
Rant Sports Prep tries to keep things saucy around here folks. but showcasing talent like Wiggins throughout the years. You will have to read about him in the college b-ball section of Rant pretty soon, but you can bet my main man Paul Seaver will keep you feeling fresh over there.
