Well, I was born with Tar Heel blood running through my veins, so when I admit something the Duke Blue Devils do is adorable and also kind of awesome, then you pretty much have to take me at my word. This one broke my tiny little heart though.
You can check out the video below, and star freshman Jabari Parker even had the three kids they sang with come and visit Midnight Madness, where the forward dunked over the young ones.
Best part? Jabari Parker, who stole the show with his saxophone "solos", used those kids as a prop in dunk contest: http://t.co/Kg9v0EUC2D

Gotta admit that one brought a smile to my mug, and overall cannot complain about my work or job today. In excellent news, I will be getting the chance to cover the Champions Classic where Parker will matchup against Andrew Wiggins and the Jayhawks.
These two young men are the last two Gatorade high school basketball players of the year, and getting to watch them at their first meeting will be true thrill. Promise to my readers to get some some good photos, and we will see if an interview or two might be possible as well. In any case, you can bet that my calendar is now circled for November 12th.
Between now and then we will see what other acts of charity Parker will bestow upon the Durham community.
