Emmanuel Mudaiy probably never thought he would ever get to dunk the ball over a sitting Allen Iverson, but when you are great at basketball these kinds of moments tend to find you.
A.I. officially retired from the league recently, and was glad to see lately the LeBron James still watches tape of “the Answer”. Iverson stopped by Prime Prep’s Midnight Madness (yes apparently they do it for high school too) to pay homage to one of his athletic heroes Deion Sanders.
Emmanuel Mudiay dunks over Allen Iverson. (Okay, he was sitting in a chair, but still.) http://t.co/MN85ZG1L4X

Those were not the only attendees. Dez Bryant made an appearance as well, so it was truly a star studded event at Prep. This is a program that is truly shooting for big things, and you can expect greatness from them in the future.
Mudiay wants to win NHSI. That is definitely one of his goals if I know anything about the young man’s drive. Will try and keep my calendar open for that time, because it would be a true joy to get to go back this year. Just remembering the look in Mudiay’s eye after that tournament told me all I ever need to know about it. This is a young man with serious tenacity, and he is going to take it out on high school basketball this season.
Keep an eye out later today for a piece on Miles Reynolds.
