Whitney Young center Jahlil Okafor is taking his last official visit this weekend, and then it is going to be decision time. This is certainly a big one, and we will have to see how this all shakes out because it will affect things at a national level. Promise to keep my eye on any twitter updates and if you all have any questions feel free to write me.
Okafor is a package recruiting deal with top ranked point guard Tyus Jones, and we should see a decision from them by early November. This is quite wise, because it will allow the two to enjoy their last season of high school basketball with no decision hanging over their heads. Thanks to the tweet below.

Okafor and Jones will both be up for many national player of the year awards, and we will have to see how that shakes out. In any case, their decision will send shockwaves through the college basketball world. Wherever they decide to go will become national contenders that season, and probably ranked number one in the preseason. That tends to happen when you add two players the quality of Jones and Okafor.
Stay tuned for more updates about their recruitment as the weekend progresses, and definitely more analysis after they make a decision.
