Analyst Dick Vitale Chooses Kentucky Wildcats as Best Frontcourt
Dick Vitale really likes the Kentucky Wildcats front-court and it is hard to blame him there. When you have a player like Dakari Johnson coming off the bench for your team, your front-court will be extremely competitive. Johnson would probably start for any other team in the country, and it was my joy to get to see him play at the National High School Invitational. He was named the Most Outstanding player of the tournament and afterwards predicted the he would win a national championship at the college level.

We will be lucky if Vitale’s head does not explode with excitement this season. The meter on “diaper dandy” mentions will probably break this year, and have to admit I have not looked forward to a college basketball season this much in quite some time.
The Wildcats are going to be looked at as contenders all season, and they will be featured in national media probably more often than you like. Here is a brief excerpt from Dickie’s blog piece which is worth checking out.
“John Calipari has loaded up with plenty of diaper dandies to go with returning players Willie Cauley-Stein and Alex Poythress” Vitale writes. “It helps when you have Julius Randle, Dakari Johnson, James Young and Marcus Lee, all top-flight newcomers, in your program.”
Have to get my diaper dandy counter ready for this year folks.
