Jabari Parker Showing Ability to Finish Dunks In Traffic with Ease

Jabari Parker

Guy Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

The highlights of Jabari Parker are just getting started folks, and you can bet he will be a feature part of Sports Center’s top 10 plays. If you did not see the footage of this dunk yet then you have been missing out.

Parker’s ability to finish in traffic around the rim will make him a go-to player for the Blue Devils and expect for the offense to be totally focused on him. He has the ability to not only score, but create for his teammates as well. He recorded four assists in this weekend’s exhibition game while also dominating on the defensive end of the floor. Hailed at the best high school player since LeBron James by Sports Illustrated during just his junior year, Parker will have high expectations going into the season but something tells me he is up for the challenge. ACC player of the year may even be within his ability level.

Was lucky enough to speak with Parker a couple summers ago, and if you are intrigued by his college career stay tuned in to Rant Sports. Will be attending Parker’s matchup against Andrew Wiggins on November 12th so be sure to keep an eye out for some photos and interviews down the line. Also keep an eye out for a piece on how the huge recruiting weekend went for the Blue Devils; it could end up keeping them in contention for the next two years at the very least if not even further down the line.

Watch HS Hoops Coach Headbutt Referee

There is absolutely no excuse for this to happen ever. During an argument about a call, Neshaminy (Pa.) high school basketball coach Jerry Devine decided it would be a good idea to headbutt the referee to prove his point. Devine was then ejected from the gym and could now face criminal charges for his actions as well as losing his teaching and coaching job.
