Kansas Jayhawks Head Coach Bill Self Visits Jahlil Okafor Yesterday
Well it appears the Kansas Jayhawks have worked their way into the mix here. Bill Self payed Whitney Young center Jahlil Okafor a visit yesterday, and reports came out recently that Apple Valley’s point guard Tyus Jones is down to the Jayhawks and the Blue Devils.
Jones and Okafor are a package recruiting deal, and it is widely believed that wherever they go to school becomes an instant title contender next season.
Self has been doing a hell of a job recruiting lately, and if he manages to land this then it puts the Jayhawks in great position for not only this season but also the next.
Thanks to Evan Daniels for his update on Self’s activity.
Bill Self is meeting with Jahlil Okafor and Cliff Alexander today.

Will be lucky enough to see the Jayhawks make a rare trip to Chicago an couple weeks to watch Andrew Wiggins go toe to toe with Jabari Parker. That will be a hotly contested match, and it would not surprise me to see both young men put up video game numbers trying to top one another. In the meantime, stay tuned in to Rant Sports Prep because believe Jones and Okafor’s decision could come in the next couple days. After they have had the Halloween weekend to mull it over you can bet that they will be ready at that point. Some fanbase is going to be hyped, and another one will feel a little bit more pain in their sports’s life.
