Andrew Wiggins is not being coy about this and got to admit I’m impressed; it he did not have to be in school right now he wouldn’t be. He would have gone first in last summer’s draft, and he has plans of making it happen next summer.
“I would say just being able to enjoy my last year of school,” Wiggins said to ESPN. “Win another championship, a national championship. Follow in Anthony Bennett’s footsteps of going No. 1.”
I really like the way Wiggins is approaching this season, and believe we could be in for some special things from this young man. Bill Self has said this is the most athletic team he has ever coached, and Wiggins is aboslutely the lynchpin for that statement. This guy can flat out jump, and he knows how to put that athleticism to good use which is why his skills project to be so good one day

Keep an eye out later today for a piece on Jabari Parker who will be matching up with Wiggins on November 12th. I will be there, which could not be more pumped about so keep an eye out for some exclusive coverage from Rant Sports as a result. Will do my best to get interviews, but at the very least you will be getting some photos and videos. It is going to be a long wait between now and then, but I will try to hold on.
