Top Ranked PG Tyus Jones Cuts Minnesota Gophers From Recruiting List
Well Tyus Jones had to do it sometime. He broke the hearts of Minnesota when he removed the hopeful Gophers team from his list.
This is a bit strange, not that Jones took the Gophers off the list but there seems to be some tension going on between Jones and his package recruiting deal partner Jahlil Okafor.
First saw this news in the tweet below.

While a guest Friday on Sports Radio 105 the Ticket, Jones told host Mike Morris that he and Okafor “remained committed to playing for the same college program”, so maybe everything is fine.
The tweet below though makes me think there might be some trouble in paradise, but they should come to a decision before the end of the month. The initial thought was that it would happen in early November, but it will just be a bit longer, so maybe we can all work on our patience. Most likely Okafor’s dad and Jones are just not completely agreeing on this one, but something tells me they will work it out in the next two weeks or so.
Hearing Jahlil Okafor not as sold on Duke as Tyus Jones, that a family member of Okafor is pushing Kansas. 1st I've heard against Duke w/him

Balled with some kids in Evanston today and they were pretty good for high schoolers. For you young ballers out there, just keep working on your game day by day.
Jones certainly has put some hours in at the gym, and his talents will be on full display in college after one more year of high school. The only thing that remains to be seen is what jersey Jones will wear.
