Tyus Jones is the top ranked point guard in the 2014 college basketball recruiting class, and he just returned from a slew of visits with his package recruiting deal partner and good friend Jahlil Okafor.

Oh yeah, Okafor just happens to be the top ranked player in the country of his age, so there is that too.

Jones did not let his recent visits keep him from balling out at Fall League, which I noticed thanks to the tweet below from Iowa Elites.

Jones’ all around game was on display and he finished up the game with 27 points and nine rebounds. The young point guard had an incredible summer winning Co-MVP of the Elite 24 game as well as leading the AAU circuit in points and assists. He is also coming off of a state title run in last year’s playoffs so you could say that things are shaking out in Jones’ favor in the past couple years.

Okafor’s high school squad travels to Minnesota in December to play Jones and Apple Valley which should be an incredible game. Still considering driving out for that one so my regular readers should keep an eye out; even have some friends who are from Minnesota so may try and organize a little winter trip to the land of 1,000 lakes. Working on a piece about Jahlil Okafor possibly disagreeing with Jones on some recruiting issues as well, so stay tuned later tonight for that and thanks for reading my humble words.
