Kansas Jayhawks’ Andrew Wiggins Named to Preseason All-American First Team

Andrew Wiggins was recently named to the preseason AP All America first team where he also joined Marcus Smart.

The two will likely fight it out for the Big 12 player of the year award and you can bet that their matchups will be closely watched. Thanks to the tweet below for the update on this.

Chad Ford recently dished about the pro teams who were supposedly bound for the lottery who are doing well. They appear to have a chip on their shoulder for the spot their GMs put them in to Rig for Wiggins so to speak.

“It’s the coaches and players that don’t give a damn” Ford wrote on his chat. “They’re young and they have a chip on their shoulder. The players all think they are better than Wiggins right now. Tough for a GM to stop that … short of making more trades to make the team even worse.”

The days of Wiggins appearing on Rant Sports Prep are numbered but be sure to check into the college basketball section. Also I will be attending Wiggins game on November 12th, so be sure to stay tuned in for content between now and then. Will hopefully get some photos, video, and interviews so see you soon folks.
