Jahlil Okafor recently committed to the Duke Blue Devils along with his buddy Tyus Jones, the top ranked point guard in the class. Will they both one day get to play with Jabari Parker though?

It is conceivable, and although not likely it is still possible.

Thanks to Alex Kennedy for the tweet below.

Parker and Okafor played in AAU together and they reportedly spoke quite often about recruiting matters in the last year. Kind of explains why Okafor was so comfortable in going with the Blue Devils, and you can bet that the dup will be impressive in Durham with or without Parker.

Was lucky enough to see Parker play last Tuesday at the Champions Classic and if you missed my coverage of that be sure to check it out on twitter. He was impressive and came away from that game believing Parker will be the top pick in next summer’s draft. Reserve the right to reverse that opinion at any time, but it is what I believe at the moment until Andrew Wiggins starts playing with a full motor for complete games.

Thanks for reading y’all, and be sure to check out my piece on Cliff Alexander later tonight.
