Cameron Crazies Jump Up and Down in the Streets After Jahlil Okafor’s Commitment
When Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor committed to the Duke Blue Devils, I knew it would make the Cameron Crazies happy but it literally had them jumping up and down in the streets.

Okafor and Jones have known each other since third grade, but did not consider going to college together until they played on the US youth basketball team together. It was there that they were rewarded wuth a gold medal and started to see that playing together might just be the best decision for both of them. The Blue Devils will certainly be the preseason number one in 2014 especially given the recent commitment of super glue guy Justise Winslow, but you can also bet the rest of the college basketball world is not going to just roll over. It will be hard not to in the end though, because the amount of talent on this squad is not really fair.
Also, it is not likely to happen by any means, but we still do not know for certain whether Jabari Parker is going to come back for a second year or not. Parker comes from a well-off family, that also stressed the importance of education early and often in his life, so it will be interesting to see how serious he takes his education in the next year. It would be hard to blame him for going pro though, and certainly would not begrudge the young man any success because he has certainly earned it.
