Justise Winslow’s Toughness and Versatility Will Make Duke Blue Devils Special Next Year
Justise Winslow recently committed to the Duke Blue Devils in news that almost made it certain that they will be the preseason number one in the 2014 college basketball season. Winslow’s decision came just a week after the power package recruiting duo of Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor committed to the Blue Devils as well.
All of this recent news has Blue Devil nation feeling good on twitter, which always produces interesting results.
Jeff Goodman’s tweet should give you a good sense of what Winslow can bring to the table for the Blue Devils: ultimate glue guy.
Love Winslow's toughness, versatility & motor. One game in summer he played the point and then checked 6-9 Cliff Alexander on the other end.

Goodman is a must follow on twitter for basketball junkies so highly recommend you follow him if you are not already, and the analyst makes a great point about what Winslow will bring to the table next season. It really is a perfect fit, and the amazing part is that because of Jabari Parker it is not totally known yet whether Winslow will get to be in the starting lineup or not. We will just have to see what happens next season.
Winslow will be the third option on offense at the very least, which is a pretty good position to be in if you are the Blue Devils head coach. This crew might just help Coach K get his 1,000th win which would be quite an amazing landmark to contemplate.
Thanks for reading folks. That is all for Rant Sports Prep today, but be sure to check out my pro basketball previews tomorrow morning.
