The latest Tyus Jones’ scrimmage highlights are pretty legit, and Duke Blue Devil fans will definitely want to check them out below. Thanks to Iowa Elites for the mention in the tweet.

Jones recently committed to the Blue Devils along with his good friend and package recruiting deal partner Jahlil Okafor. They met in third grade, but did not consider playing in college together until they played on the U.S. youth national team together. After two gold medal together they started to think quite seriously about it, and here we are today.
The two announced their decision in a joint press conference despite being in different states, and the dynamic duo’s commitment will make the Blue Devils the preseason number one in 2014. This should delight many in Durham, who are already enjoying the play of some impact freshman this season in what will be a season that goes into March at the very latest.
Academics was one of the reasons they decided to roll with the Blue Devils, but the coaching staff cannot be understated either. They have been recruiting both of these young men for quite a long while, and their efforts reaped a major reward lately as well with the commitment of small forward Justise Winslow. The potential to possibly play with Jabari Parker probably did not hurt their chances of committing, although that still remains to be seen. I am probably in the select minority who believe it will happen, but we are obviously still quite a long way from seeing if it will come to pass.
