Duke Blue Devils’ Coach K Says Justise Winslow “Can Guard Every Position”
The Duke Blue Devils have had a banner month in college basketball recruiting and their coaching staff certainly likes the players coming aboard next season. Jahlil Okafor is assuredly the crown jewel, but the “other guys” are not too shabby either.
“In Tyus Jones, I think we have the best point guard in the country” wrote head coach Mike Krzyzewski in a press release. “Someone who has won state championships, USA championships and is the consummate leader on the court. Justise Winslow is a great wing player. He is a guy that can guard every position and is an amazing rebounder and scorer. The great thing about all four of the kids is that they want to share a spotlight and they want to be on a great team. They’re team first guys, even though they have this excellent amount of individual talent.”
This does not take into account the remote possibility that Jabari Parker could decide to stay in school one more season and go for the title in his sophomore year.
They will certainly be an electrifying team to watch next season and if the Blue Devils are at the Champions Classic, then you can bet that will try to get to Indy to cover that one for y’all.
Thanks for reading and be sure to keep an eye out for a piece on Jones and how he was balling lately with his younger brother who has a bit of game as well.
