Duke Blue Devils Commit Tyus Jones Shows Smooth Scoring Ability with 38 Point Home Opener

Geoff Burke- USA TODAY Sports

Tyus Jones recently committed to the Duke Blue Devils along with top ranked 2014 center Jahlil Okafor. Most analysts have agreed that the Blue Devils will be national title favorites next season especially after the commitment of Justise Winslow as well. The three visited Durham together, so it was not a surprise when they all ended up committing.

Jones has looked impressive in the early part of his senior season of high school basketball, and he seems hell-bent on bringing home a second state title. You can bet will keep track of his progress in that respect here at Rant Sports Prep.

It is an honor and a privilege to be mentioned along with Paul Biancardi and Jay Bilas in the tweet below, and am so thankful for where my readers have taken me so far. Much thanks to Iowa Elites for the mention and be sure to check out Jones’ highlights below.

The Apple Valley guard’s game is so smooth that it is easy to take all the things he does for granted, but when he is paired with an elite big man at the college level then the sky will be the limit. Thanks for reading and be sure to stay tuned for my pro basketball previews tomorrow morning. Stay safe out there and love each other.

Watch HS Hoops Coach Headbutt Referee

There is absolutely no excuse for this to happen ever. During an argument about a call, Neshaminy (Pa.) high school basketball coach Jerry Devine decided it would be a good idea to headbutt the referee to prove his point. Devine was then ejected from the gym and could now face criminal charges for his actions as well as losing his teaching and coaching job.
