North Carolina Tar Heels head coach Roy Williams has been confused by his team’s haphazard results lately, but they were recently able to topple the number one team in the nation. This gives them a nice little tournament resume builder, but we will have to see if they can continue to get wins.

Equally confusing has been the Tar Heels recruiting results, which have been mixed to say the least. Harrison Barnes was the last truly elite player to commit, and the Heels will have to suffer through two seasons of their rivals in Durham likely winning the ACC.
“You can’t tell in college basketball what’s going to happen,” Williams said after the latest win. “At one point, we had three freshmen, a sophomore and a junior on the court.”
The Blue Devils will likely torch the Heels with two freshman next season a couple times, but Williams has to take his victories when he can these days.
The Heels could prove me wrong, but based on what I have seen so far would be shocked to see them win the ACC. Do believe they will scratch their way into the tournament, but that still remains to be seen as well.
