Duke Blue Devils’ Commit Tyus Jones Tweets “Proud of My Teammates” After Latest Win
Point guard Tyus Jones has looked incredible in the early season, and if he can stay healthy and continue to be such a great team leader then we could be looking at back to back state titles.
He tweeted after the latest victory, in which he notched a double-double in efficient fashion. Much thanks to Jones for tweeting out love to his teammates after the game even though it was his individual effort that truly made the difference between victory and defeat.
Proud of my teammates man! We stuck together and played as one. Love games like those

Jones’ actions show class, and that he will give his teammates all the credit for a win and himself all the blame if they lose.
Apple Valley’s (MN) march to defend their state title has looked pretty good so far, but we will have to see if they can continue to carry momentum into late December.
Jones’ little brother Tre Jones is on the team as well this season and believe read on twitter that he is in eighth grade. Could we be looking at Apple Valley’s future point guard? Think so, and who knows he might even follow his older brother to college.
The Cameron Crazies are going to be bouncing all year for Jones and possibly even more for Jahlil Okafor.
Thanks for reading folks and keep an eye out for a piece on Okafor and why he will be fine after a season opening loss.
