Kansas Jayhawks Cliff Alexander Silences Haters with Dominant Performance
Well the forward Cliff Alexander haters have something to think about now. The Kansas Jayhawks commit showed up in a big time way this weekend with a 22 point, 20 rebound, and five block performance that allowed Curie to edge out Bishop Gorman 66 to 62.
Thanks to Chip Miller for the tweet below and the update on Alexander’s stat line.

The forward drew criticism, from me also admittedly, for the way he handled the end of his recruitment. He listened to his teammates at a time when he probably should have listened to his heart, but this is a fantastic young player who if he listens to his college coaches at the next level should make a fantastic pro basketball player one day. Dropping 20 point and 20 boards is no joke folks, and the Jayhawks could have a double-double machine on their hands next season. Could be cool to see him at the Champions Classic next year, but do not think those games have been set yet.
Alexander will be on a mission himself for a state title, and the main player who might be in his way is Jahlil Okafor. If those two meet in the state playoffs, then the victor of that game will likely win the whole banana.
Thanks for reading folks, that is all for Rant Sports Prep today but be sure to check out my basketball previews tomorrow morning.
