Typing this as watching the game and be sure to check in tomorrow for a recap of the match, but it appears Duke Blue Devils head coach Mike Krzyzewski made the trek out to Minnesota to watch his future players ball against each other. Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor committed to the Blue Devils last month, and ever since then this game has been circled on my calendar.
Much thanks to Ryan Barth for tweeting that coach was in the building, and this should be a night of basketball that is remembered for quite some time.

They announced at the same time despite being states apart, which is pretty cool and Blue Devil nation exploded a bit on twitter after it went down. Their chemistry on the court next season should be pretty fantastic, because they already have experience playing with each other so it will be a quick adjustment period. They met in third grade, but did not seriously consider playing together in college until playing on the junior national team. Once they started winning gold medals, then they started to give some serious thought to the idea of teamming up at the next level. Coack K knows that he has a special duo coming to town, and that is why the ball coach is paying his due diligence and is in Minnesota tonight to watch the action.
Keep an eye out for a piece on Stanley Johnson later today, and in the meantime watch all the great basketball going on tonight!
