Arizona Wildcats Commit Stanley Johnson Says “My Whole Thing Is To Win the Game”
Stanley Johnson has been balling out West, and he has Mater Dei (CA) ranked number three nationally according to USA TODAY. Was quite impressed with an interview Johnson did recently and especially the way that the forward approaches the game.
“My whole thing is to win the game,” Johnson said. “I’m not trying to impress anyone. Everyone has their own opinion on what you are and what you’re not. I do things I know I can control.”
He has been successful in his goals so far, and it has resulted in the forward becoming a top ten player in the 2014 college basketball recruiting class according to ESPN. If Johnson can keep up his recent play, then Mater Dei could be the number one ranked team in the country before another month passes.
Mater Dei is 4-0 so far this season and Johnson is averaging over 30 points and ten rebounds in the games played so far, which is quite impressive for one player to put up such high numbers especially at the high school level.
You can check out the full interview below, which is worth checking out.

A lot of content coming on Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor tonight, because they squared off againstt each other last night on ESPN2. Will be watching the game for the second time tonight and possibly even recording a couple highlights on the smartphone to slow things down for a moment on a couple plays. Thanks so much for reading y’all. Stay friendly and love each other.
