A great deal of the world got to see Tyus Jones ball last Thursday, and it is amazing that it is almost a week ago already. Time flies, so enjoy it folks.
Thanks to the tweet below for making me ponder a bit about Jones and Quinn Cook; wonder who will be facilitator usually and who will be the finisher when they share the court next season.
@HeHateMN Yeah, not in love with Jones' NBA potential right now… plus, he'll share the backcourt with Quinn Cook so 2016 seems more likely

The good news for Jones and Cook is that Jahlil Okafor will be on their side commanding a double-team in the post at all times. There will be plenty of space to shoot, and so there could be some quite high scoring games for the Duke Blue Devils next season. The coaching staff was even in Minnesota on Thursday to support Jones and Okafor, so it must have been a travel heavy week for those coaches.
Thanks for reading folks. Keep an eye out later tonight on why Okafor’s improved game over the summer should have the Whitney Young Dolphins (IL) poised to bring home the state title this season. Michell Obama would certainly be pleased, and when the First Lady is happy then I’m happy.
