Duke Blue Devils Commit Tyus Jones’ Mixtape Is Impressive So Far This Season
Duke Blue Devil fans have got to love what they have seen lately from point guard commit Tyus Jones. The Apple Valley (MN) floor general was not able to get the win against his future teammate Jahlil Okafor last week, but the guard’s shooting was impressive and the two will be hard to contain offensively next season.
If you have missed out on any of Jones’ recent play be sure to check out the mixtape below.
Much thanks to Iowa Elites for mentioning me as well after this mix tape; it is always appreciated.

Jones was able to bring home a state title after last season, and you can bet that is his goal this year as well. Flip Saunders was actually at the last state game, and so if the point guard gets back it will be interesting to see if there are any other big names who are drawn to watch or cover the game. Jones and Okafor committed to the Blue Devils in November, and you get the sense that they both feel a great weight has been lifter off of their shoulders. In other words, it is great to see them playing basketball in such a relaxed and happy manner and looking forward to more of that in the coming year.
Also, there was a recent piece in Chicago Magazine on Okafor that is quite excellent, and will have something about that later on.
Few more Rant Sports Prep pieces coming your way later tonight and also keep an eye out for basketball previews in the morning.
