Jahlil Okafor, the Whitney Young (IL) center, will make Duke Blue Devil fans happy one day but first he has a few more high school basketball moments left to enjoy. He will be on every single one of the All American teams, and it would not surprise me in the least if we are looking at next year’s Gatorade high school basketball player of the year.

Okafor will join the Blue Devils with his good friend Tyus Jones, who also happens to be a top five player in the 2014 class according to ESPN. They will be a dynamic duo for the Blue Devils, and the best part is that we already know that they have chemistry both on and off the court. It will be interesting to see what happens if things do not go well immediately, but those two are dedicated to winning and it will eventually start to show up in the win column. Honestly, would also not be shocked if next year’s Blue Devils rattled off ten to twenty wins to start the year, and it probably would not even be all that difficult for them.
That is all for Prep today, but will leave you with a little fortune cookie wisdom and hope everyone out there stays safe during the Holidays. Peace and love y’all.
