Emmanuel Mudiay has been playing smooth basketball so far this season, and it has not gone unnoticed by the scouts that happen to trust the best here at Rant Sports Prep. Analyst Fran Fraschilla tweeted recently that Mudiay has “excellent size, speed and poise” for a point guard, and all of those qualities are what would enable him to succeed at the next level of basketball. Much thanks to Fraschilla for the tweet, and it should be interesting to see which point guard in the 2014 college basketball recruiting class is best.
I was really impressed with SMU recruit Emmanuel Mudiay in Prime Prep win over Findlay Prep yesterday. Excellent size, speed & poise for PG!

For me it has to be between Mudiay and Tyus Jones, and it is pretty dang close. Would go with Jones at gunpoint at the moment, but that is also with the caveat that Mudiay probably has a higher ceiling as a pro player. Work ethic counts for a lot though, and so it will be interesting to see whether the talent level gap becomes different between these two in the next few years. You can bet all Dave all day will have your back though, because basketball is just what happen to love.
That is all for Prep today, but will have some more content out for you on Christmas Eve before taking a day off to refresh the mind and body. Thanks so much for reading, and as always here is some fortune cookie wisdom that you can either take or leave.
