When recently saw Jahlil Okafor’s stat line at City of Palms my jaw dropped, and wondering if you will be impressed as well. Does 22 points, 23 rebounds, and five blocks sound realistic to you? Not really to me, but that is apparently the world we live in.

Much thanks to Chip Miller for the tweet below.

Okafor’s effort helped Whitney Young (IL) to third place at the tournament, and will definitely keep an eye on how he progresses throughout the year. Duke Blue Devil fans will have a lot to cheer about next season, but first we will have to see if Jabari Parker can get it done this season. If not, then if he ends up staying for his second year he will certainly have quite a lot of help coming his way. Tyus Jones, the top ranked point guard in the class, was a package recruiting deal with Okafor and their November commitment sealed the Blue Devils in as the preseason number one team in 2014.

Two more previews coming your way tonight, and then be sure to check out my pro b-ball previews as well. Thanks as always for stopping by Rant Sports Prep.
