Jahlil Okafor

Duke Blue Devils commit will show his talents off this weekend at the Les Schwab Invitational, and found the schedule for that thanks to the tweet below.

That piece above also mistakenly writes that Okafor won a state title his junior year though, so if you check it out do so for the links.

Okafor will bring a lot of joy to the Cameron Crazies next season, and he was a package recruiting deal with his friend and future point guard Tyus Jones. They will assuredly make the Blue Devils the preseason number one in 2014, and it is a year of basketball that should be amazing on pretty much all fronts; although the high school game will suffer a bit, just because this year’s recruiting class is fantastically talented. Okafor’s quest towards a first state title had been blocked the last three years by Jabari Parker, but fortunately for Okafor that particular obstacle is no longer in his path. He is a having a senior year to remember so far; that is certain, and now we will just have to see if he can finish off the narrative with a story book ending.

Thanks so much for reading today and as always will leave you with a little bit of fortune cookie wisdom to get you through your day.
