SMU Mustangs Commit Emmanuel Mudiay says “I’m Used to the Tough Competition”
Recently came across the video below of SMU Mustangs commit Emmanuel Mudiay, and wanted to share it with any readers of mine who are into Texas basketball. The Prime Prep (TX) point guard has got his priorities right, and he has his eyes clearly set on getting back to NHSI which comes as no surprise here.
“I’m used to the tough competition,” Mudiay said to Hoops Factory. “So I just want to see the best players out there play against the best players, and bring the best out of me. The main thing right now is winning the national championship; we just lost two games right now, but we had a big win this week and the main thing is just winning a national championship.”
That is the kind of competitive fire we like to see here at Prep, and can pretty confidently say that will be at NHSI if it is in the same location as last year. Should be one of the best weekends of high school basketball this year, and definitely looking forward to it.
Much thanks to Hoops Factors for tweeting out the video.

Mustangs head coach Larry Brown has to be looking forward to coaching this young man, and we could be looking at one of the next great point guards in the game
One more Prep piece coming your way today, and then might even hit you with a few basketball previews if feeling the vibe. Thanks as always for reading; stay good and love each other out there on the Holiday break.
