Duke Blue Devils Commit Tyus Jones Has Dominating Double-Double in Win Over Roseville
Duke Blue Devils commit Tyus Jones just keeps getting more efficient, and it is clear to me that the high school level offers very little challenge to him. The Whitney Young game was definitely a great test, and it is a shame that Apple Valley couldn’t quite pull that one off. Recently wrote here that would not be surprised if Jones dropped at least 20 and ten against Roseville; well he went ahead and did me one better. Much thanks to D1Circuit for tweeting this below, and do not know if it is his point or assist total that impresses me more.

Jones committed to the Blue Devils in November, and he was a package recruiting deal with the top ranked player in the 2014 college basketball recruiting class. That will make the Blue Devils a preseason favorite going into the year, and it will be interesting to see if they remain the main story line throughout the entire year. It could definitely happen, but you always have to watch out for a couple surprises when it comes to March Madness.
It is probably the efficiency with which Jones pulls these games off though, that is most impressive to me; in any case, we will be sure to see if Jones can work his way back to another elusive title. One more preview coming today, but will get back on that pony tomorrow and if the fates allow then on New Year’s Eve we will start a celebration for what should be a 2014 to remember.
