Cliff Alexander has been opening up some eyes in Chicago lately, and the Simeon Academy Wolverines got an up close look at his brilliance recently. Much thanks to D1Circuit for tweeting this below, and have to say that the 16 boards is most impressive to me.

Kansas Jayhawks head coach Bill Self payed a visit to his prized commit recently, and Rock Chalk Nation is getting a special player next season. The spectacular may be becoming a bit more mundane though after a full year of watching mega talent Andrew Wiggins light it up this season. Will admit here that his averages are not quite what predicted here at Prep, but was going off the word of several scouts whose knowledge definitely trust. Anyways, the Jayhawks have plenty of talent in the cupboard, and so they should remain in the national conversation for the foreseeable future. You can count them in as a shoo-in for the Champions Classic next season as well, although that is looking a little bit too far down the line for my taste. The Wolverines do not have Jabari Parker this season so the five-peat looks like it is out, but definitely will keep an eye on Alexander.
That is all for today, but as always will try to leave you with a little bit of fortune cookie wisdom to get ya to 2014.
