David Crisp’s 33 Point Game Leads Rainier Beach Over Whitney Young and Jahlil Okafor
Rainier Beach forward David Crisp got himself some attention lately when he out scored Jahlil Okafor in a high school basketball game. There probably are not that many players this year who can claim both that and a victory. Would be an interesting thing to look up
Saw the news of Whitney Young’s defeat in the tweet below, and Crisp ended up finishing with 33 points.

Okafor added in 28 himself, but it was not quite shard enough for the Dolphins in this one. The Duke Blue Devils commit recently revealed his life story in a Chicago Magazine piece that highly encourage you to check out; it shows why Okafor has the drive that he has, and at times it is quite heartbreaking, so also brace yourself in that regard. His words about his mother, and what he says to himself before every game is the kind of stuff that could level you quite quickly. Life is a hard game folks, but it is better to play it than to not.
Got one more Prep piece coming at you later, and thanks as always for stopping by. Here is some fortune cookie wisdom for you, and love each other out there.
