Tyus Jones NCAA Basketball: Michigan State at Minnesota

Brace Hemmelgarn-USA TODAY Sports

Tyus Jones recently balled out at his third and final T-Wolves shootout, and he threw down a one-handed dunk that you just have to see for yourself. Mark Remme below called it the best game dunk he has ever seen from a high school player. Wow.

Jones was clearly making some kind of statement with that dunk, but mainly he was trying to give his team a momentum swing. That is something he definitely did, and from what I’ve seen from Jones and Apple Valley (MN) this season it would be a surprise if they did not win the state title. He saw that the defender was in the restricted area, and the point guard made his opponent look foolish as a result with an electrifying poster dunk.

Believe “fortune cookie wisdom” is a word used in Moneyball and it has just kind of been stuck in my brain since seeing that movie.

Watch HS Hoops Coach Headbutt Referee

Devine was then ejected from the gym and could now face criminal charges for his actions as well as losing his teaching and coaching job.
