Duke Blue Devils Commit Jahlil Okafor Is Showing Raw Power for Whitney Young So Far This Season

Jahlil Okafor

Guy Rhodes-USA TODAY Sports

Jahlil Okafor has probably been the most impressive high school player in the early season, which is saying quite a lot this year. The highlights below show just how powerful Okafor has been this season, and he commands at least a double-team in the post on every play.

Okafor will join the Duke Blue Devils next season, and he will do so as a package recruting deal with the top ranked point guard in the 2014 college basketball recruiting class, Tyus Jones. The Cameron Crazies will certainly have a lot to cheer about, and it would be a shock at this point if the Blue Devils were not the preseason favorite to go all the way.

Will definitely keep an eye on how both of them fare this season, and here is wishing them both good health and luck in their respective state playoffs. Should be a lot of fun to follow, and truly looking forward to doing my job for you in year wonderful 2014.

As always will leave you with a bit of fortune cookie wisdom, and thanks for stopping by.

Watch HS Hoops Coach Headbutt Referee

There is absolutely no excuse for this to happen ever. During an argument about a call, Neshaminy (Pa.) high school basketball coach Jerry Devine decided it would be a good idea to headbutt the referee to prove his point. Devine was then ejected from the gym and could now face criminal charges for his actions as well as losing his teaching and coaching job.
