Emmanuel Mudiay had some words recently about his future head coach Larry Brown, and the full piece you can check out below.
I asked Emmanuel Mudiay how he describes SMU coach Larry Brown. He started with, "The Godfather." Full answer here: http://t.co/VStDq6JAeIAdvertisement

My favorite part is where Mudiay compares Brown to the Godfather.
“He’s the Godfather of basketball,” Mudiay said when asked by Sporting News what came to mind about Brown. “He knows everything. He’s been in the game for a very, very long time, and I trust him 100 percent, with what he’s going to teach me, what he’s going to tell me, how he’s going to coach me. He had the most important role (in picking SMU). His history speaks for itself. He’s just a great person individually, he takes care of his players and is just a great person.”
It seems like those two will have a fantastic coach and player relationship. With Mudiay able to play in college so close to home, it would definitely not surprise me if he stayed in school for more than one year. Just a thought, but Mudiay will cross that bridge when it comes.
That is all for today, but thanks as always for reading and will hit you with a little bit of fortune cookie wisdom.
