Duke Blue Devils Commit Tyus Jones Gets Double-Double in Win Over Jefferson

Geoff Burke- USA TODAY Sports

Tyus Jones recently dropped a double-double against Jefferson, and it was honestly one of his least impressive (at least statistical) performances so far this year. The Duke Blue Devil commit has dropped forty-plus once or twice this year, so pardon if 17 points and 10 assists do not make my jaw drop completely.

Always love seeing what Jones is up to though, and will be keeping an eye on who should for sure be this year’s Mr. Basketball. Even if Apple Valley (MN) loses every game the rest of the year, the point guard should still win the award based simply on the amount of attention that the Whitney Young (IL) game had being on ESPN. That was huge for the future of basketball in Minnesota, and the repercussions of that will prove themselves down the line. Just had to get that off my chest real quick, and thanks as always for hearing me out. Could be wrong, but on this one it does not seem likely.

Got some more Rant Sports Prep hot cakes coming at you later, and y’all should be afraid of what I’m gonna do next. Apologies, listening to HOV.
