SMU Mustangs Commit Emmanuel Mudiay Tells Myles Turner to “Pony Up”
Myles Turner is the top uncommitted player left in the 2014 college basketball recruiting class, and the 6-foot-10 center has offers from some of the top programs in the country. A dark horse candidate (pun intended) to land Turner would be the SMU Mustangs, but we will have
“We so busy with the season I can’t stay in contact with him,” star point guard commit Emmanuel Mudiay said at Hoophall to Masslive recently. “Every time I get a chance to remind him, I say ‘Pony Up’ or something like that.”
That is pretty funny and should be exciting to watch Mudiay and Turner at the next level. We will have to see if it is on the same team, but that still remains to be seen right now. They are both going to be stars in their own right, but just at different positions; we will have to see if Mudiay telling the center to “pony up” will be the difference, but in any case we will keep you posted on whether it works out between the two of them. My gut is telling me that it will not happen, but news will come at you either way on this.
